Cookies with Santa {Recap}

Did your family join our first annual Cookies with Santa event? We were so pleased to have a full house in the beautiful Chattanooga Choo Choo! The Chattanooga Moms Blog loved the chance to meet some of our readers face to face and watch their kids enjoy a magical evening of cookies, Christmas, and Santa!

Frothy Monkey, one of CMB’s favorite coffee houses and eateries, provided cookies and hot drinks for all of our guests, as well as coloring pages and crayons for doodling while waiting in line to see Santa!

Our sponsors for this year’s event went over the top with crafts, giveaways, snacks and activities for kids of all ages to enjoy — are your snowman ornaments still twinkling on your tree from Webb Orthodontics? Ours are!

The Chattanooga Allergy Clinic was present to pass out peppermints and pinwheels to little hands waiting in line to see Santa!

Sawrie Orthodontics had a table filled with various Christmas activities and elves ready to assist in letter writing to Santa or make reindeer food.

Northshore Pediatric Dentistry brought a reindeer necklace craft, and Drs. Webb and Flanagan had the most festive earrings we had ever seen!

We hope you stopped by St. Nicholas School table to get some sunflower seeds for spring and a St. Nick craft to take home for the holiday break!

Bella Ballerina had a fairy-filled wonderland of Christmas cheer, with a “snow” fishing game for prizes, balloons and more!

With all the crafts, goodies and prizes to be had, we were so happy to have the goody bags to hand out to each child from Whole Foods Market. Our local Whole Foods ambassadors also had a table with reindeer crafts and menus for holiday feasts.

We hope your family found the book corner provided by the Chattanooga Public Library, where you could sit and catch your breath while a local librarian read Christmas classics.

We could not have put on this huge event without the help of our local, daily content writing contributors: our CMB moms who set up tables, stuffed bags with swag for each of the children, checked off lists and cleaned up afterwards! (Pictured below are just a few of our wonderful team members.)

Thanks to each and every one of our readers and followers who were able to come to the Choo Choo and celebrate the season with us! Remember that your coupons for Ice on the Landing and Paper Moon Portraits are good throughout the rest of the season if your family was too busy to use them at the event.

We hope to see you all next year at Cookies with Santa, but until then, Merry Christmas from all of us at the Chattanooga Moms Blog!
